Victor Oladipo is a rising star in the NBA. Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, Victor began his career in middle school. In high school, he grabbed a city championship. His senior year saw him named to the All-Met first-team and pursued by Division 1 colleges. He chose Indiana to continue his basketball career. He loved the basketball environment of Indiana University. He played three years for the Hoosiers. After his junior year, Victor stood square in the national spotlight. With several awards to his name including the NCAA Player of the Year Adolph Rupp Trophy, Victor declared for the 2013 NBA Draft.Â
The Orlando Magic claimed Victor in the first round. He repaid them with a stellar season, finishing second in Rookie of the Year voting and making the All-Rookie First Team. For three years he continued to build his star in Orlando. The Magic traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2016. A year later the Thunder traded him to the Indiana Pacers. He was back in basketball town. Victor thrived with the Pacers. In 2018 he led the league in steals, was named to the All-Defensive First team, won the Most Improved Player title and played in his first All-Star game. A loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs ended his spectacular run. Victor has established himself a top-tier guard in the league and has the Pacers amongst the NBA's best.
A quiet player, Victor's fashion is similar. His style on court is as complete as they come, well-rounded and put together. His style off the courts is the same. A street fit with graffiti'd denim jackets and backpacks come just as easy to him as boots, slacks and scarves. Sharp dressing as he is shooting, Victor's wardrobe is one to watch. Dressing up or down, the man keeps it clean.
