Born in Milwaukee, Tyler Herro grew up with his parents, Christopher and Jennifer Herro, and his two siblings Austin and Myles Herro. He is the oldest of his two brothers, who also play basketball. Nicknamed “Boy Wonder,” Tyler Herro’s career began at Whitnall High School in Wisconsin, scoring more than 2k points during his high school career. Shortly after, Tyler came into prominence while playing basketball at the University of Kentucky in 2017. Starting in all 37 official games, he scored an average of 14 points with 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists during the first season. His legendary game was against Arkansas, which struck extreme buzz in the media as he scored 29 points. After that season, Tyler declared for the NBA draft as an early entry candidate and was picked up by Miami Heat in 2019.
Tyler Herro was picked as the first round 13th overall pick during the 2019 NBA draft. In September 2020, Tyler became the fourth player to score more than 30 points in a single match at the age of 20. During that time Tyler earned his place in the NBA All-Rookie Second Team for the 2019-20 season.
Tyler Herro has a passion for fashion. He was stated to release his own clothing line at the end of 2020.
Aside from his passion for fashion and photography, he has his own charitable foundation called the T. Hero Foundation.
