New Orleans Saints
Championship rings feel familiar to the fingers of Malcolm Jenkins. A consecutive three state football titles in his hometown of New Jersey was the future Super Bowl champions introduction to greatness. A two-way player in high school, Jenkins made the full transition to nickelback in his freshman year at Ohio State. Jenkins played all four years collegiately and was awarded the Jim Thorpe award as the nation’s best defensive back.
A first round selection for the New Orleans Saints in the 2009 draft, Malcolm’s rookie season was a true taste of the big leagues. Jenkins’ five solo tackles and pass deflection helped the Saints secure their Super Bowl Victory over the Colts. Jenkins returned to his sophomore season as the starting safety and remained there for his remaining four seasons with the Saints. Free agency brought Malcolm back home, signing with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014. Philly keeps Jenkins fresh with the best years of his career. In the Eagles’ kelly green, Jenkins has been a 3-time ProBowler and brought the franchise their first Super Bowl championship in 2017. Returning back to his rookie roots, Malcolm signed with the New Orleans’ Saints in 2020.
