A monumental 15-year career in the NFL for Larry Fitzgerald began in his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he was an All-American in high school. After a stint at Valley Forge Military Academy, he spent two collegiate seasons with the University of Pittsburgh. At Pitt, he quickly became nationally recognized as one of the deepest threats in the game. He was the first player in school history to record back-to-back 1,000 receiving yard seasons. The unanimous All-America selection was sprung into the Heisman conversation in just his sophomore year. The conversations turned into statements, as he was selected as a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2003, eventually placing second in voting.
A monumental third overall pick by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2004 NFL Draft, Larry has since spent his entire in Arizona. Still known for his unbelievable consistency in the league, Fitzgerald has made his mark not only on the franchise but the league as a whole. He’s been selected to a record 11 Pro Bowls. A harrowing feat as the the only receiver in league history to do so, besides Jerry Rice. Fitzgerald holds every possible franchise record for a receiver, including total touchdowns. Officially moving into the second slot of all time receptions in the NFL in 2019, Larry also holds the record for the most seasons with 90 receptions. While Larry is bound to be a Hall of Fame selection someday, he still goes down as one of the all-time best dressers in league history as well.
The veteran receiver schools the league when it comes to fashion. Never one to shy away from a three-piece suit, his selections and cuts are always sharp. You won’t find Larry dipping into the latest trends, he’s as classic and cool as they come. If he’s not donning one of his signature suits, you’ll find him in distinguished classics that continue to communicate a ‘boss man’ status.
FOUR! Larry is also an avid golfer and in 2018 won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament with Kevin Streelman.
Honoring his commitments. Before Larry’s mother passed away from cancer he promised he would finish his college degree. He fulfilled his promise in 2016 with a communications degree from the University of Phoenix.
Larry has a passion for traveling and started his own travel company, Nomad Hill, in 2017.
