While a self-proclaimed California boy at heart, Kenny Stills was actually born in Minnesota, while his father was playing for the Minnesota Vikings. With over 3,000 receiving yards and 33 touchdowns, Stills’ talents were cemented at his high school in San Diego, California. At the University of Oklahoma, Stills’ impact was immediate. Starting all 14 games as a freshman, all while setting records for receptions and receiving yards.
The New Orleans Saints drafted the deep threat in the fourth round of the 2013 draft where he remained as a consistent target for two seasons. A wave of trades carried Kenny to the Miami Dolphins where he quickly had his most impactful season in 2015. Stills is known for Sportscenter worthy catches and an integral member of the “Miracle in Miami” team with the Dolphins. On the brink of the 2019 regular season, Stills was traded to the Houston Texans, where he remains a main target for DeShaun Watson.
One may say Stills’ style is influenced by his time in Miami with the boisterous prints and loud colors but his drip is way deeper than that. A passionate activist off the field, look for Stills’ styles to make a statement beyond the labels. That mindframe also influenced Stills to downsize his closet, donating the majority of his old wardrobe and sporting designs that speak to him. Keen detail to tailoring define his pre-game style selections. Also look to Stills to utilize his wide array of tattoos as statement pieces that compliment his pregame swag.
Kenny became actively involved in politics in 2016 and as a Dolphin was very active within the Miami community in getting people registered to vote.
Every year Kenny organizes a road trip around the US to learn about the struggles various cities are enduring so they can educate activists and open communication around the country.
Staying true to his Cali roots, Vans is his go-to shoe brand.
