Although he was born John Sherman, JuJu Smith-Schuster received his nickname as a baby. Growing up in Long Beach, California, Juju’s path to the NFL was not expected. He grew up loving rugby, but with the lack of college scholarships available for the sport, he made the transition to football. Opting to stay close to home, Juju attended the University of Southern California.Â
As a true freshman, he made an immediate impact for the Trojans. Although, it was in his sophomore season, where Juju exploded. He finished with almost 1,500 receiving yards. While he wasn’t the first receiver taken in the 2017 draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected him with the 62nd pick, he was the most impactful. Among rookie receivers, Juju finished with the most receiving yards and touchdowns.Â
When it comes to off the field fashion, Juju certainly thinks highly of his choices, referring to one of his looks as ‘fashion god’. Staying true to classic suit styles, Juju keeps it fresh with trendy colors and deep hues. Not one to shy away from trends, as Juju grows within the NFL, fans have seen him in bold prints and unexpected styles.

As a rookie with the Steelers, Juju made headlines riding his bicycle to practice because he did not have a driver’s license!, His bike was was eventually stolen, resulting in a humorous city wide search.
He’s a huge video game fan and even has his own YouTube channel dedicated to his skills
His french bulldog, Boujee, is almost as famous as his owner. He even boasts his own instagram page which has over 159,000 followers and is verified.
