Damian Lilllard hails from Oakland, California. An under-the-radar recruit coming out of high school, Damien chose Weber State for his college ball. He played at Weber State for three years, missing a year due to a foot injury. Judging himself ready, Damien declared for the 2012 NBA Draft.
The Portland Trail Blazers took Damien with the sixth pick in the first round. His rookie year he set several marks, including winning the Skills Challenge at All-Star Weekend. He was the First Trail Blazer to ever win the event. By season’s end was the unanimous Rookie of the Year. Damien was selected as an All-Star in 2014, 2015 and 2018.
