CJ McCollum was born in Canton, Ohio. To start his freshman year at GlenOak High School, he stood 5'2". By the start of JUNIOR year, he was 5'11". CJ graduated his school's all-time leading scorer. He was named Gatorade Player of the year in 2009. By the start of college at Lehigh, he stood 6'3". As a junior, he led Lehigh to a historic upset of two-seeded Duke in the 2012 NCAA Tournament. He declared for the 2013 NBA Draft after graduating.
CJ was taken by the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round. His rookie season - hampered by injuries - saw him spending time in the D-League. The next year, he solidified his position with Portland. A strong playoff performance helped. In 2016, CJ was named the Most Improved Player of the year. Ever since, he and fellow Blazer Damian Lillard have terrorized guards across the league. CJ and the Dame have brought Rip City to life.
Most people love to look fly. Some people make it look easy. CJ is one of those people. His overcoat may be fur lined He may rock a more conservative grey & black peacoat. CJ has even brought out the traditional tan overcoat and dress shoes look. No matter how he decides to dress - up or down - CJ knows how to keep his fits fly.
