Alongside of Ty Ty Smith and Speedy Morman, the artist is preparing to launch his first television show, The Hype. This show will premier August 12 th , include 8 episodes in Season one and be available to watch on HBO Max.

The Hype is going to be about “The worlds of streetwear, business and culture colliding.” It features ten streetwear designers who will compete in challenges to prove they can talk the talk and deliver the product. While watching the show you will learn unique tips and takeaways about the intricacies of designing, the business of fashion, and the sharpness it takes to identify the latest trends. Each designer must stay authentic to their own style while learning to elevate their designs and entrepreneurial sense to avoid elimination, the winner of the competition will win $150,000 and a collaboration with StockX. One of the contestants, Caroline Bentley Noble, is the founder of Avenue C. She’s made clothes for several NBA players including James Harden, but will have an opportunity to bring her signature paisley aesthetic to the masses.
Offset is known as not only a Hip Hop icon, but also as one of the best dressed, Joining Offset on the show are celebrity guests including his wife Cardi B, Wiz Khalifa, A$AP Ferg, Dapper Dan, and more. Offset will produce and be one of the co-signers aka judges alongside Beth Birkett, creative director and founder of Bephies Beauty Supply, and Marni Senofonte, a costume designer who has worked with Beyonce and Lauryn Hill. Complex’s Speedy Morman will be the host. Offset explains that there is an opportunity with this show to shine a light on streetwear and give the youth a chance to be seen.
